“Astana Ballet” preparing for tour to Poland

From November 21 to 23, 2016, for the first time “Astana Ballet” Theatre will be touring in Poland. Audience of Warsaw and Wroclaw will see new productions of the theatre and the best concert performances.

 

For the first time “Astana Ballet” Theatre will present their skills on the most famous stages of the Republic of Poland. Opening of the tour will take place at the Grand Theatre of Warsaw and the final performance will be held at Wroclaw Opera House.

 

Concert program includes new productions of Belgian choreographer Ricardo Amarante: “A Fuego Lento”, “Gaia” and “Love Fear Loss”, as well as well-known dance miniatures and fragments of productions performed by artists of the Theatre. Varied and vibrant concert program gives the opportunity to be in a wonderful atmosphere of music and dance, and will present the diverse work of young Kazakhstan team.

 

“A Fuego lento”, “Gaia” and “Love Fear Loss” are brilliant productions in neoclassical style, choreographic stories about love and the beauty of nature. The Polish audience will be the first who see new production of Ricardo Amarante “Love Fear Loss”. The premiere of this elegant and impressive love story, which is directed to the music of Edith Piaf, will take place on the stage of the Grand Theater of Warsaw.

 

One-act ballets shown all together give the opportunity to meet one of a kind repertoire of the company, its rich potential that allows to fulfill the performances, which are created in different directions and styles. Concert program also includes such famous dance miniatures as “Yapurai”, “Asem Konyr” to the music of Dina Nurpeisova, “Scythian Murals”, “Kuanamyn” (“Happiness”), “Arular” (“Beuties”) to the music of “Turan” ethno-folk band.

 

These performances, as well as ballet fragments from the repertoire of “Astana Ballet” Theatre, give a chance to see how artists and directors extend the classical framework of musical and choreographic synthesis. Two days “Astana Ballet” will present performances to Polish audience. Performances filled with not only finesse and elegance of ballet arts, but also rich national motives. Performance of “Astana Ballet” Theatre promises many surprises to fans of the ballet.

 

Tour of young, but widely known “Astana Ballet” Theatre will contribute to strengthening of relations between Kazakhstan and Poland, to contribute to the mutual enrichment of cultures and cooperation between the two countries.
