“Astana Ballet” at Turkic Culture Festival in Korea

“Cultural Festival of Turkic-Speaking States” is taking place these days in the Republic of Korea. The Festival is attended by groups from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Turkey and Turkmenistan.

 

The Festival started on November 8; a joint concert of Turkic-speaking states was held that day in Seoul, photo exhibition and exhibition of national costumes started to work as well, they were organized by representatives of the member states.

 

“Day of Kazakhstan” was held as a part of the Festival on November 10. The Republic of Kazakhstan was represented by “Astana Ballet” Theatre, “Khassak” ethno-folk ensemble, “Samulnori” Korean State Republican Theatre of Musical Comedy and young singers and performers playing folk instruments.

 

The Festival will end on November 13 in Gimhae, which will host a big concert with participation of artists from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan.
